I just wanted to let you know that Tony was not only a great race car driver but a special person to me. As a Young driver, we always try to look up to a real driver for advise. Tony was just that person. He knew me as the Bandolero kid and I met Tony at the race shop and he always had words of encouragement for me. That I will never forget and his smile. He will always be in my prayers and when I race. I asked my parents to have a Dash Plaque made "In Memory of Tony Roper" and it will be in my bandolero and his spirit will continue to race. I know he would have liked that. My deepest sympathy to all the family, friends and Fans. God will take good care of him now and I will race in his memory so he can be proud.
