NASCAR announced that Truck series driver Tony Roper had died after a head-on accident during the O'Reilly 400 trucks race Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway. Roper had been on life-support.

This is another sad day in NASCAR. My thoughts and prayers are with Tony, his family, friends, and fans. God Speed Tont, we will miss you. I hope you have fun racing with Adam, Kenny, and all the other drivers in heaven. :(
