One year too long and too short

Today being one year since Tony passed - doesn't seem like a year ago but still hard to believe he and Dean are both not chasing the checkered flag for us. I know they are chasing that flag together for the Lord but the selfish part of me wishes the race was here. Many thoughts and prayers have gone out for all the families,friends, race team members, and fans of Tony and Dean. Many more will continue I'm sure. In sadness and uncertainty our Lord is a never ending source of strength and confort. I know the families couldn't have endured this last year without it. Some will not remember Tony at some point in time but many will never forget. The great memories each of us have can last our lifetime.
